Sturgis Area Community Foundation (SACF) is proud to announce the 25th work anniversary of its Operations Manager, Shelly Luce.

Shelly first joined SACF in June of 1999, as a part-time office assistant. With extensive experience in accounting, knowledge of foundations, and a passion for the community, her role in the foundation grew over the years and in 2019, Shelly was promoted to a full-time Operations Manager. As Operations Manager, Shelly oversees every aspect of the Community Foundation’s daily operations including fund accounting, donor services, and grant administration.

“Shelly is tremendously important to our work,” says Executive Director Lindsay Aguilar. “She is the glue that holds our office together and, often times, she is the first point of contact for community members, grant recipients, and donors. Beyond the knowledge and skill that she brings to our organization, Shelly treats every person with genuine kindness and makes it a point to get to know the people we serve. She’s a blessing to our organization and community.”

The Sturgis Area Community Foundation is a $30M foundation committed to serving the charitable needs of our community and enriching the quality of life for all people in the Sturgis area. Through philanthropic services, strategic investments, and community leadership, the Sturgis Area Community Foundation helps people support the causes they care about now and for generations.
