Welcoming New Roles at the Foundation!

At the Sturgis Area Community Foundation, we believe that strong communities start with strong teams. We’re excited to share several updates to our staff lineup that reflect our commitment to growth, service, and connection across St. Joseph County.

Rasika Stewart
Office Manager

We’re thrilled to welcome Rasika Stewart to the Sturgis Area Community Foundation as our new Office Manager. Rasika brings valuable experience in administration and customer service, along with a strong passion for giving back to her community. In this role, she will oversee daily office operations, assist with events and donor services, and serve as the first point of contact for many of our visitors and partners. With her friendly presence and attention to detail, Rasika is already a wonderful addition to our team and our mission.

Elizabeth Whitehead
Program Officer

Elizabeth Whitehead has transitioned into the role of Program Officer at the Foundation. Elizabeth has been instrumental in advancing the Community Foundation’s Child Care Initiatives and will continue to lead this important work. In her expanded role, she will also support local nonprofits and students across the county, overseeing the Foundation’s grant and scholarship programs to ensure that funding and resources create the greatest possible impact.

Anna Brand
Communications & Outreach Manager

Anna Brand now serves as the Communications & Outreach Manager at the Foundation. Since joining the team in 2022, Anna has played a key role in program development, supporting scholarships, youth initiatives, and community grantmaking. In her new role, she leads the Foundation’s storytelling efforts, sharing the impact of our work, managing communications, and strengthening connections with donors, nonprofit partners, and St. Joseph County communities.

We welcomed a new affiliate, with the addition of Three Rivers, and we are actively working alongside our trustees, community boards, and donors to make SACF the most effective resource for philanthropy for St. Joseph County. Everything we do is in rooted in a desire to make a positive impact in local communities and for the people who call them home.
