The Sturgis Area Community Foundation (SACF) has proudly announced the recipients of its 2024 Athletic Camp Scholarship Awards. This annual program provides financial assistance to local students who want to attend summer athletic camps.

Empowering Young Athletes

Each year, the SACF offers athletic camp scholarships for Sturgis students in grades 6-11 who show potential and a strong interest in sports. The goal is to help athletes attend summer athletic camps where they can improve their skills, receive guidance from experienced instructors, and connect with peers who share the same passion for sports.

These scholarship awards are made possible thanks to the generosity of local families and individuals who have established charitable funds with the Foundation. It’s a demonstration of how community support can directly impact the growth and encouragement of young talent. Applications open in early March and close May 1 each year and can be found on the Foundation’s website at sturgisfoundation.org/additional-scholarships.
